Surfboard TORQ Epoxy TEC Summer 5 5.2
The Summer 5 is the optimal surfboard for waves up to 4 feet.
Whether longboarder who wants to try a bit shorter or shortboarder looking for a bit more volume - both will bring in a lot of fun on smaller days with not so powerful waves.
The shape is short and wide, providing plenty of surface area for planing. With about 30% more volume than the Thruster, there's also an extra helping of float.
The rocker is kept flat for high maximum speed and the outline allows for powerful turns without digging in the rail.
The Summer5 has 5 Future Fin boxes and works equally well as a quad or thruster.

Torq Epoxy Composite offers versatile performance shapes in the most advanced epoxy construction.
A mix of traditional fiberglass layers and carbon fibers is used, making the boards ultra-light and -robust.

Control - Flex - Response
In the TORQ epoxy composite manufacturing, one layer each of 6oz and 4oz fiberglass and carbon reinforcements (in the tail and as stringers) are processed. The bottom is also reinforced with carbon in the tail area and also has a carbon strip that runs the full length, giving the board controlled flex and lively response.

Lighter-Faster-Greener
Computerized blank manufacturing results in significantly less waste. No MDI or TDI. Far more environmentally friendly than traditional polyurethane blanks.

6oz and 4oz fiberglass and a 6oz deck patch provide more stability with less weight than traditional polyester boards.
CARBON FIBERS:
Stronger - More Lively
Provide the board with higher stretchability than fiberglass. More lively in maneuvers plus stronger in stressed region such as over the fins.
EPOXY RESIN:
Stronger - More environmentally friendly
Less release of toxic VOCs when cured. Stronger than polyester resin. No excess/waste in processing.
