The 12'6? is the longest board in our Sport series. It offers the most planing and speed while still being easy to paddle. It's also a great board to bridge the gap to our race boards. The 30? width still provides stability so you'll feel comfortable on longer trips, and the ergonomic tubular grips on all boards provide a cushioned, comfortable grip when carrying your board. Before any of our board designs go into production, we do extensive research and testing to make sure your board will perform when you need it most (we even ran over one of our boards with a tractor...it was fine) Then we take 72 hours to manufacture each board- that's ten times longer than the industry average.
This whole process is called Tec Air and is how we refine and develop our boards at every stage of production. By focusing on key areas of the production process, we can find ways to improve the end result. Whether it's where and how exactly the plies are glued or how the rocker curve is applied to the board, no area of the design process is ignored.
It's important to know that the key areas of construction are inside the board. Even if two boards look the same, they can be very different in the way they are constructed. Our attention to detail on the inside makes for the best experience on the outside.

All Red Paddle Co boards have an industry leading cosmetic finish. No wrinkles or stains. Boards look cleaner, smoother and even feel better.
Lightweight but strong
All Red Paddle Co boards are up to 2 kg lighter than our previous double layer construction. But very importantly, they are not too light. If a board is ultra light, it will be more affected by wind and current on the water. MSL boards have a reassuringly light feel.
STIFFER AT LOWER PRESSURE
Due to the Torsion Stiffness effect, all Red Paddle Co boards are stiffer at lower pressure than other products on the market. We recommend a pressure between 16-22psi. Less pumping and more paddling.
INCREASED DURABILITY
The multi-layer coating on Red Paddle Co boards is tough and durable. With the third generation of MSL material, our boards are more durable than ever.
